Gautamiputra Satakarni : Gautamīputra Satakarṇi  was a ruler of theSatavahana Empire in present-day Deccan region of India. He ruled in the 2nd century CE, although his exact period uncertain. His reign is dated variously: 

Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nayanthara are playing the main lead roles and music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is based on life history of 2nd century CE, Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni. Gautamiputra Satakarni is a prestigious movie to Nandamuri Balakrishna as his 100th film which was officially announced 8 April 2016, on eve of Ugadi at Andhra Pradesh State Upcoming Capital Amaravati. 


The information available about Gautamiputra Satakarni comes from his coins, the Satavahana inscriptions and the royal genealogies in the various Puranas. The best known of these is the Nashik prashasti , inscription of his mother Gautami Balashri, which credits him with extensive military conquests. Historical evidence suggests that Gautamiputra revived the Satavahana power after a decline caused by Shaka invasions.

MILITARY COQUESTS Historical evidence suggests that the Western Kshatrapas  expanded their empire at the expense of Satavahanas in the years preceding the reign of Gautamiputra Satakarni. Based on the Nashik inscription of his mother, it appears that Gautamiputra revived the Satavahana power. The inscription states that he defeated the Shakas.  the Pahlavas (Indo-Parthians), and the Yavanas (Indo-Greeks).  It also states that he emerged victorious in several fights against a confederacy of enemies.

PRODUCTION

After the release of his previous film Sardaar Gabbar Singh (2016), Pawan announced that he would remake Tamil filmVeeram (2014) in Telugu with S. J. Suryah as a director, despite Tamil film was already dubbed and released in Telugu asVeerudokkade. The title of the film was announced as Katamarayudu named after the song sung by Pawan from the filmAttarintiki Daaredi (2013). However in a sudden turn of events, Suryah left the project to concentrate on acting assignments and he was replaced by Kishore Kumar Pardasany collaborating with Pawan for second time after Gopala Gopala (2015) while Soundarrajan who was the cinematographer also left the film and was replaced by Prasad Murella.The film began its shoot on September 24 on Secunderabad

MARKETING

The first look poster of the film was unveiled on October 29, 2016 on the eve of Diwali. Makers are planning to release teaser on the eve of Sankranti.

The film stars Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead, while SJ Surya will be seen in the role of a villain, which is directed by  AR MRUGADOOS

Mahesh Babu and AR Muragadoss' upcoming movie has finally got a title. The name of the much-hyped movie is Sambhavami

The movie is which is directed by AR MRUGDOSS  , main lead by superstar maheshbabu , female lead role by rakul preet singh .... the movie name finally titled as  SAMBHAVAMI... 

even though this information was not official publisdhed..

At first they to like name the movie as AGENT SHIVA which they want shiva reference in the title ....but this name was not pretty good for tollywood and in kollywood ....Hence, they're currently looking for a title that will go well with both the versions of the film," a source told IANS recently.

Now the unit are are currentlyshooting in ahmadabad and the schdule will be closed on DEC-23 . as information by the unit  members actually they are shooting an action scene , which is a bomb blast plan on hero ..  

after completing the current schdule ... the unit will be headed to dubai and then to hyderabhad to shoot important sequences of the movie ..the movie is planing to relese on summer .... even there is no first looks , no teasers yet relesed but the movie satelite rights sold by high amount and beated  the records of bahubali.....

Rakul Preet Singh plays the female lead, while SJ Surya will be seen in the role of a villain. Radio jockey RJ Balaji has been signed up to play the role of a comedian in the film. He plays Mahesh Babu's friend in the movie, which is jointly produced by NV Prasad and Tagore Madhu.
